How Does Skin Rejuvenation With the MOXI™ Laser Work?
The MOXI™ laser comfortably delivers heated energy into the skin without injuring the surface, a technique referred to as non-ablative laser rejuvenation. Most patients find the treatment to be quite tolerable, though topical numbing can be applied as needed. Using a computerized handpiece, the MOXI™ laser is designed with single-use tips and rollers to monitor the treatment duration and maximize patient safety.
Depending on an individual’s goals, the laser’s energy settings can be customized to deliver optimal results. There are three levels of treatment available. Level 1 is the lightest and Level 3 is the most aggressive. All levels require little to no downtime.

As the laser is applied, patients may experience a mild prickling sensation that should be eased by the device’s cooling mechanism. Generally, each treatment takes about 12 to 15 minutes, and the laser is safe for all skin types and tones.
The MOXI™ laser’s gentle 1927nm wavelength targets water within the cells—a method that works with the body’s natural healing process and allows the treatment area to recover more quickly with little-to-no downtime. Noticeable improvement can typically be seen after a single treatment. However, for optimal results, a series of two to four MOXI™ laser treatments is usually recommended.
