What Are Biostimulator Treatments?
Biostimulators are a set of treatments used in aesthetic medicine to stimulate the body’s natural fat and collagen production, improving skin texture and firmness over time. Unlike traditional fillers, which add immediate volume, biostimulators encourage the skin to gradually rebuild its own support structures. In addition to Renuva®, common biostimulators include Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) and Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite).
Renuva® can be used effectively anywhere that fat naturally exists on the body, making it a versatile treatment option for patients experiencing cellulite, scarring, volume loss, skin laxity, and other common signs of aging. How Is the Renuva® Procedure Performed?
Renuva® is injected into the desired area(s) by one of our highly-qualified injectors using a thin needle or cannula. The entire procedure typically takes less than an hour to complete, and most patients report needing little to no downtime.

What Do Renuva® Results Look Like?
Depending on the specific area(s) and concern(s) being treated, Renuva® typically results in the restoration of natural, youthful-looking volume and improved skin tone and texture around the injection site(s). It can also help correct the appearance of cellulite, skin dimpling, skin laxity, and other common aesthetic concerns. In most cases, optimal results are achieved after a series of Renuva® injections.
Since Renuva® stimulates the body to generate more of its own fat cells, optimal results are achieved over multiple treatments and develop gradually over the course of a few months after treatment.
