Frequently Asked Questions
What does a consultation cost?
If you are visiting our office for a cosmetic consultation, there is no fee. We believe that building relationships is important to your care and satisfaction. For this reason, we grant free consultations for our cosmetic patients to meet our staff and discover the treatment options that are available.
How long does a consultation appointment last?
We book 30 minutes for our cosmetic consultations. The average appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes, but we choose to book extra time to ensure you receive enough time to get all of your questions answered and also receive feedback from your provider. We want your experience to be a positive one and also make sure you leave feeling educated and empowered to make an informed decision about your medical care.
Do I have to have a consultation with my provider prior to receiving treatment?
Yes. We require all new patients to KMP Aesthetics to consult with one of our treatment specialists. We’ll review your health history and ensure that you are pursuing treatments that best address your aesthetic goals. For your convenience, we can easily combine the consultation with treatment on the same day.
If you are interested in seeking treatment on the same day as your consultation, please let us know in advance so we can work to accommodate your request.
Who performs BOTOX® and Daxxify injections at KMP Aesthetics?
BOTOX® and DAXXIFY® injections are performed by Kevan Petterson, DNP, ARNP, and our team of skilled nurse injectors, including Jodie, Beredu, and Kelli. Don’t put your beauty needs in the hands of someone without years of experience. At KMP Aesthetics, you will consult with—and be treated by— highly-qualified providers, ensuring the highest degree of precision and care.
Who performs dermal filler injections like JUVÉDERM® and RADIESSE®, RHA, Resylane, and Sculptra® Aesthetic at KMP Aesthetics?
Do you offer any patient rewards programs?
Patients who refer their friends and family can earn a referral credit of $100 per person who books a service at KMP Aesthetics. In addition, KMP Aesthetics actively participates in the Allē rewards programs. For information on our referral program and Allē, please visit our New Patients page which offers useful information for preparing for your visit.
Do you accept insurance?
KMP Aesthetics is a private pay medical practice. Since the majority of our services are not covered by insurance, we are not contracted with any insurance providers.
As a courtesy to our patients, we are able to offer a superbill for treatments that may be covered under your insurance plan. Please inquire at the time of booking and we will prepare the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. Please note that your reimbursement rate will be based on your unique insurance plan.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept a variety of payments for the convenience of our patients. In addition to cash, we also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card, as well as the 3rd party dermatology financing options available on our Patient Financing page. We do not accept personal checks.
Do you offer any financing?
For patients requiring financial assistance, KMP Aesthetics offers connections to third-party financing organizations to assist in covering the cost of treatment. Although we offer this option as an additional service to our patients, we are neither connected to these companies nor do we benefit from your relationship with them. As with all financial endeavors, we recommend that all patients research the best option when making any significant financial decision.
Are you located in downtown Seattle?
KMP Aesthetics is located just east, and within walking distance from downtown Seattle, in a neighborhood called First Hill. We are close to reputable medical facilities including Virginia Mason Hospital and Medical Center, Swedish Medical Center, Polyclinic, and Harborview Medical Center. Our office is located in the Cabrini Medical Tower, across the street from Swedish Medical Center. Our building is on Boren Avenue, between Madison Street and Marion Street. The entrance to our building is on Boren Avenue; our street address is 901 Boren Avenue. For a map link of our location, click here.
If you are driving, the entrance to our parking garage is on the corner of Boren Avenue and Marion Street. There is a landmark sign on the corner labeled “Cabrini Center” with an arrow pointing to the garage. Please park on level P2 or P3, if possible, and take the elevator to the 19th floor. We are Suite 1900.
Do you have parking?
Our office is located within the Cabrini Medical Tower, which has an attached parking garage. The garage services both the Cabrini Medical Tower as well as the Seattle Surgery Center. The parking garage is managed by a 3rd party group and as of 2023, ranges from $5 to $15 depending on appointment length. Street parking is available on Marion Street and nearby side streets but since we are in the heart of the hospital district, street parking is limited.
For convenience and simplicity, we recommend parking in the Cabrini Center garage, which is our parking garage, mentioned above.
Do you validate parking?
We do not validate parking. Rates are based on time and typically range from $5 to $15 (as of 2023), depending on appointment length. Alternatively, street parking is also available.
